The monolith was the display for the objects at the exhibition IMM Cologne 2014 by the University of Design Karlsruhe.
This work was created in collaboration with Marlene Oeken. The results of the two last projects under the direction of Prof. Stefan Diez were exhibited.
On display were the results of student projects from a workshop in India. These prototypes were presented on a monolith made of plaster. The lettering was applied with Holipowder. Holipowder is normally used at the Indian festival of colors.
For the project Masala Kitchen, the students spent ten days in India living with locals and learning how family life revolves around cooking. Following their trip, the designers created their own solutions to common problems faced by Indian cooks.
